Bionaire Air Purifiers – Choose the filter to suit your needs and the machine to fit your room

The Bionaire range of air purifiers now come with the option of 3 different filters to fit your individual needs. The 3 filters are as follows:

HEPA-type/Carbon filter for particles and odours
This is the original filter. On one side of the filter there is a HEPA type filter that will remove 99% of particles down to 2 microns. The activated carbon filter, which is combined with natural baking powder, absorbs and eliminates odours and organic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides and smells from the air. It should be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on use.

True HEPA filter for particles
The True HEPA filter removes smaller particles than the HEPA type filter. It will remove 99.9% of particles down to 0.5 microns. It should be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on use. It does not contain any activated carbon.

Permanent filter for particles
The Permanent filter is a HEPA-type filter without the carbon. It removes 99% of particles down to 2 microns. It should be vacuumed to keep it clean and to help the air purifier to operate efficiently. The filter can be replaced if required.
