Because gloves protect the skin from exposure to irritants they can also help you to do things you might otherwise not be able to do. Little children often suffer from eczema on their hands which makes it very difficult when they go to nursery or to school. Wearing gloves can help them play in the sand or paint and play with the other children without making their hands sore.

For older children and adults, gloves can be used under rubber gloves for washing up or under gardening gloves when you are gardening or just worn to school or work, or over creams at night.
