The Danish bedding and cushions that we offer have a smooth high quality cotton cover and a high percentage of down.

These beautiful large cushions look good on your sofa or bed. Perfect for everyday use with the added benefit of being dust mite proof. This medium weight cushion is made up of three chambers - the top and bottom chambers are filled with Danish duck down and the inside is filled with Danish duck feather. Filling weight 650g.

The cover is Oeko-tex Standard 100 dust mite proof 100% white cotton. Machine wash at 60C 3 to 4 times per year. Tumble dry on a cool setting.

Safe for Allergies and Asthma
Our Dykon Danish down and feather products have been found to be safe for people suffering from allergies and asthma associated with but not limited to:

carcinogenic and allergy-inducing dyestuffs

Many people who have thought they were allergic to down and feathers in the past may be suffering from an allergy to the natural oils and bacterial components commonly found in down and feather fillings that have not been properly cleansed and sterilised, or from the chemicals commonly used to eradicate this problem. Ringsted Dun's unique washing and sterilising process ensures all bacterial components are eliminated.

Care of Danish Down products if you have allergies
Wash at 60C. Dry thoroughly in a tumble drier using three tennis balls or DryerBalls. No dust mites will enter the cushion. To make sure that there are no dust mites on the surface of the cushion, wash more regularly than would otherwise be needed.

Regular care
Fluff up your cushions regularly. This keeps them lofty, light and airy. Don't forget to fluff them from different sides to distribute the filling evenly. Air the cushions as often as possible but do not leave in direct sunlight. Never vacuum or beat the cushions.

The NOMITE Certificate guarantees that dust mites cannot pass through the fabric of the product confirming that the bedding is fit for house dust mite allergy sufferer use.

Downafresh® Certified
The Downafresh® label guarantees that the filling materials must come from a Downafresh® manufacturer (own or other European manufacturer).

Raw feathers have been cleaned with water and dried at a temperature above 100C.

Cleaned feathers and down comply with the requirements to cleanliness and hygiene, as specified in the European standard EN 12934.
