The Daylite Shielding material can be hung as a curtain lining, made up as net curtains or used as a bed canopy. It provides protection from 90% of high frequency electromagnetic waves. The 100% polyester net knit, with 5-6% silver-plated copper fibre content can stop incoming microwave radiation energy from 300 to 6000 Mhz . This range encompasses all three mobile/cellular phone bands (including 3GUMTS-FDD), TETRA/Airwave, as well as WiFi, Wimax, and Bluetooth.
This material holds the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. This is a uniform safety standard of assessment for potentially harmful substances. Any product with this certification will not overstep stringent limits of absorption via the skin, ingestion and inhalation of harmful substances. To gain the standard the product must be tested on a yearly basis. The invisible metal fibre is woven into the threads creating a deflective barrier without detracting from the appearance and quality. The material is white, semi-transparent, washable and easy to tailor. The material can be washed at 30C on a gentle cycle but do not tumble dry.
The Daylite Shielding material is cut to order by the running metre in widths of 2.5 metres. A small sample can be sent upon request. It is not available for next day delivery.
