Double Imperial Plastic Undersink Unit

The Imperial Plastic undersink unit is larger than the Doulton unit so the filters give a higher flow rate and a larger capacity than the comparable Doulton unit.

The double plastic unit contains two plastic housings fitted to a double wall bracket, two filters, a chrome tap, full fitting instructions and a one year parts warranty.  The double unit measures 36x29x13cm and can be installed DIY or by your plumber.

The unit comes with a Pre-filter and a choice of either an Ultracarb or a 5 Micron Carbon filter:

Imperial Pre-filter

• Removes larger particles and increases flow rate

The Ultracarb will remove other heavy metals such as copper and mercury but the amounts have not been quantified. The Ultracarb will not remove hardness from the water.

Independent quality control testing
The Ultracarb ceramic filter is manufactured with ISO9001: 2000 Quality Assurance. NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), WRAS (Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme) and The Water Quality Association use a very strict set of criteria to continually monitor the filter candles and performance of the undersink units. 

Fluoride Filter
The fluroide filter will reduce fluoride to between 50 and 75%.

Replacing the filters
The Ultracarb filter and the 5 Micron filter should be replaced every six months for four people and every nine months for one to two people. The Pre-filter and Fluoride filter should be replaced every six months. Do not use for longer than twelve months without replacing.

It is important to change the filter candles in your water filter system on a regular basis. We will automatically put your name onto our filter reminder service so that you can keep your water filter functioning effectively. We offer this service for the drinking water systems, the wholehouse systems, the shower filters and the bath ball dechlorinator.
