Doulton Double Undersink Replacement Filters
- The Doulton Double Undersink Drinking Water Systems use either a pre-filter or a fluoride cartridge in the first housing and an Ultracarb Ceramic Filter the second housing
- The fluoride filter will reduce fluoride to between 50 and 75%
- The Pre-filter takes out the larger particles protecting the ceramic Ultracarb filter and increasing the flow rate.
- The Ultracarb removes chlorine, bacteria, cysts, trace organics like oestrogens and heavy metals
Replacement filters for the double stainless steel unit. The first housing takes either a pre-filter (which takes the larger particles out protecting the ceramic Ultracarb filter and increasing the flow rate) or a fluoride filter, the second housing is for an Ultracarb filter.

The Ultracarb will remove other heavy metals such as copper and mercury but the amounts have not been quantified. The Ultracarb will not remove hardness from the water.
Independent quality control testing
The Ultracarb ceramic filter is manufactured with ISO9001: 2000 Quality Assurance. NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), WRAS (Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme) and The Water Quality Association use a very strict set of criteria to continually monitor the filter candles and performance of the undersink units.
Replacing the filters
The Ultracarb filter should be replaced every six months for four people and every nine months for one to two people. The pre-filter and fluoride filter should be replaced every six months. Do not use for longer than twelve months without replacing.
