Allergy Defence is an inert cellulose powder. It has no known side effects and is registered as a class one Medical Device. Allergy Defence has the ability to improve the quality of the air reaching the lungs. Allergy Defence powder, contains Mint and when inhaled, works by turning to a gel like material on contact with the moisture which is always present the nasal tract. This gel then behaves like real mucus in the nasal tract. This is the material which adsorbs all the dust, germs etc. from the air stream as it passes through on its way to the lungs.

It is known that some people who suffer from hay fever, asthma and eczema have a lack of good quality mucus in the nasal tract. Allergy Defence restores this situation back to normality and eliminates most allergic reactions. One sniff into each nostril from the special dispenser will last at least 12 hours. With clean, allergen and germ free air going into the lungs, the possibility of cross infection and ill health is greatly reduced.

The nasal tract is designed to forcibly separate out any allergens in the inhaled air. All the dust, germs etc. are impinged on to the mucus membranes. The purified air then serves the lungs and enables them to work properly. With clean air there is nothing to cause allergic reactions.

The nasal tract is a very sophisticated air filter. It has four elements. The outer nose, where the heaver particulates precipitate out due to the drop in air pressure as the air is drawn in through the nostrils. The nasal tract separates out the smallest germs, pollen etc. by the 'smoke ring ' principle. The clean air in the middle is separated out from the “smoke” which is concentrated in a ring. In the nasal tract the clean air in the middle serves the lungs. The 'ring' of concentrated dust, germs etc. is impinged onto the mucus membranes and absorbed. The third and fourth elements are the tonsils and adenoids. They play their smaller part, to purify the air before it arrives in the lungs. The filtration system can break down due to a lack of good quality mucus or to the system becoming overloaded with pollution. When this happens a number of self defence systems come into play. One of these is triggered by the mast cells positioned in the upper nasal tract. They become exposed then give out histamine. (Hence the prevalence of anti-histamine drugs) and about seven other drugs. One of these is known to cause Eczema in some people.

Allergy Defence restores the nasal tract to its full working capacity as a filter. This has the effect of instantly shutting down this self defence system since it is no longer required. It follows that the chemicals, which cause the allergic reactions, are no longer introduced into the blood stream. A whole variety of problems are resolved.

We know from experience, that in most cases when Allergy Defence is used, hay fever symptoms abate in 3 to 10 seconds. Most asthma troubles cease after a few hours. Even eczema has been known to subside after about three weeks of using Allergy Defence twice daily. 

Contains inert natural cellulose powder of vegetable origin and peppermint powder. 

For best results spray one puff of powder up each nostril three times a day. If your symptoms are more severe you can administer more frequently, which may help accelerate relief. Allergy Defence should be taken as soon as your symptoms appear. It can also be used as a preventative measure before you are entering an environment where airborne allergens may be present. For Allergy Defence to work efficiently it needs to maintain a constant layer of gel across the lining of the nose. We advise re-administering Allergy Defence after you blow your nose to renew the barrier.
