The Naturo Pure HF380 and HF380A air purifiers use seven leading technologies to remove virtually every pollutant. They are equipped with sensor technology that automatically monitors the quality of the air in your room, detecting the presence of dust, allergens, and odours. When detected an LED light indicates the amount of pollution detected. The HF380s then use an ioniser (with relatively no ozone), HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, photocatalytic oxidation filter (titanium dioxide), germicidal UV lamp, dust collection grid and washable pre-filter to effectively clean the air of smoke, dust, allergens, bacteria, odours, microbes and chemicals.
Clinical tests show that 98% of hydrogen sulphide was removed in thirty minutes. Hydrogen sulphide is a strong gas created by stagnant sewage and is one of the very worst and most difficult-to-remove pollutants known to man. An air purifier’s ability to remove H2S is a good indication of its ability to remove strong odours, odour-causing toxins and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Tests also showed that using the unit for one hour on the aspergillus mould successfully destroyed 100% of the mould cultures. Aspergillus is one of the most toxic and allergenic types of mould. The powerful but quiet fan purifies up to 25sq m at 3 air changes per hour.

Stage one
The washable pre-filter captures the largest particles, which enhances the durability and performance of the other filters.
Stage two
The washable dust collector plates are electrostatically-charged and trap the particles and pollutants like a magnet.
Stage three
The activated carbon filter traps chemicals, gases, odours and cigarette smoke. Carbon filters serve to remove odours, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals that other filters cannot.
Stage four
The HEPA Filter which is the most effective type of air filter at capturing dust, allergens and other solid particles (including bacteria).
Stage five
The Photocatalytic Oxidation (Titanium Dioxide) filter is coated with titanium dioxide, which produces highly reactive ions and electrons when combined with the UV light from the UV lamp. These highly reactive ions attach to chemical molecules, bacteria and odour-causing compounds, destroying them through oxidation.
Stage six
The germicidal UV Lamp is the most effective way to destroy micro-organisms, such as germs, viruses, fungi (such as mould) and bacteria. It also destroys micro-organisms including those that are trapped by the HEPA air filter, preventing them from reproducing and circulating back through the room.
Stage seven
Finally the safe and effective ioniser circulates trillions of negative ions to neutralize floating pollutants throughout the room making it highly effective against dust, bacteria, etc. The Intelli-Pro ionizer is proven to be safe, producing virtually no ozone whatsoever.
Replacing the filters
In order for an air purifier to function effectively the machine must be kept clean and the filters replaced regularly and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
