Roomaids and XR100 Replacement Filters

The washable pre-filter will remove large particles. The HEPA filter removes 99.7% of particles down to 0.3 microns including attached viruses, animal dander, cigarette smoke and radon daughters. The carbon VOC filter contains granulated carbon and removes odours and chemicals as well as VOCs which may offgas from products such as paints, carpets and furniture.
The washable pre-filter on the Roomaids should be washed whenever necessary. Always make sure it is completely dry before putting it back on the unit.
The HEPA filter for all the Roomaids will last between two to five years depending on the contamination level and how often it is used.
The carbon VOC filter should be replaced every six to twelve months.
The filters for the XR100 come as one combined filter, which should be replaced once a year.
