The 5 Micron Carbon filter removes rust, particles and odour and improves taste. It will remove oestrogen and synthetic oestrogen but the amounts have not been quantified.

Replacing the filters
The Ultracarb filter and the 5 Micron filter should be replaced every six months for four people and every nine months for one to two people.
