Space Saver Water Solution Pack

There are a lot of people who want to have chlorine free water throughout their home and filtered water in the kitchen. The problem has been that the water comes into the house under the sink in the kitchen. At the best of times this cupboard has all sorts of cleaning materials in it. With the Standard Single Wholehouse on one side and the Single Doulton Undersink on the other there is still some room in the middle for storage.

Standard Single Wholehouse Water Filter System
This unit contains a single carbon block filter that effectively removes 99.99% of the chlorine and organic compounds such as oestrogens, trihalomethane, pesticides, herbicides, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, phenols and VOCs from all the water in your home. There will be no more smell of chlorine and you will no longer suffer the drying effects of chlorine on your skin. In addition this filter removes the residue of oestrogens from your water. This unit comes with one Big Blue plastic housing, one Carbon Block filter cartridge and complete fitting instructions. Both the filter and the housing are independently tested by NSF.

Doulton Single Plastic Undersink Unit
The Single Doulton Undersink Unit is a complete drinking water filtration system and acts as a complement to the Single Wholehouse Water Filter System. The Undersink Unit contains a Doulton Ultracarb filter which removes chlorine, chemicals, bacteria, particles and heavy metals but leaves the beneficial trace elements and calcium that are important for strong bones and teeth.

The Ultracarb has a ceramic outer that has a very small pore size so bacteria and viruses are filtered out. The inner core of activated carbon will remove the organic compounds like chlorine, pesticides, herbicides and oestrogens. This filter cartridge is independently tested by NSF.

The Space Saver Water Solutions Pack contains a Doulton Single Plastic Under Sink unit to give you healthy drinking water and a Single Standard Wholehouse System (WH1) to filter all the water in your home.

The Ultracarb will remove other heavy metals such as copper and mercury but the amounts have not been quantified. The Ultracarb will not remove hardness from the water.

The Ultracarb ceramic filter is manufactured with ISO9001: 2000 Quality Assurance. NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), WRAS (Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme) and The Water Quality Association use a very strict set of criteria to continually monitor the filter candles and performance of the undersink units.

Replacing the filters
The Ultracarb filter should be replaced every six months for four people and every nine months for one to two people. Do not use for longer than twelve months without replacing.

The Carbon Block cartridge should be replaced every twelve months. This applies to both units.
