Food sensitivity and intolerance is becoming more common and with the Alcat test you can find out which foods you are sensitive to and eliminate them from your diet.
Sometimes the immune system reacts to substances, including foods and food additives that are not normally harmful. The result may be any of the following conditions:
| Eczema | Diabetes | Chronic Fatigue | Acne |
| Hay Fever | Panic Attacks | Asthma | Obesity |
| Stuffy Nose | Arthritis | Autism | Anxiety |
| Muscle Aches | Depression | Headaches | Fatigue |
| IBS | IBD | Ear Infections | Chronic Diarrhoea |
Independent test results show the percentage of subjects who reported moderate improvement to total cure in these respective conditions though food sensitivity has also been implicated in many other instances of health problems.
| Migraines 78% | Spastic Colon 71% | Acne 46% | Chronic Sinusitis 62% |
| Eczema 67% | Arthritis 77% | IBS 87% | |

How do I take the Alcat Test? When you order an Alcat Test we will arrange for the lab to send you a blood test kit. You will need to arrange to have your blood taken either at a local Nuffield Hospital (they do not take blood from children) or at your local surgery (if your doctor is willing). The blood must then be taken to the Post Office and sent immediately by Special Delivery to arrive next day (not Saturday). Results are sent to you within ten to fourteen days of the blood being taken. The blood is dispensed into individual vials containing samples of each food or chemical tested. They are incubated to simulate the conditions inside the human body. ALCAT measures changes that occur in the immune system cells when the blood is exposed to the test substance.
Is it effective?
The ALCAT Test® has been validated by independent scientific studies and has benefited tens of thousands of people worldwide.
Who can take the test?
The test is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 months though the older the child the more appropriate it is to take sufficient blood for a large test such as the BT100. It is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. It is a test for sensitivity not true allergy, for an explanation of this please see further information below. There is no assurance provided that any particular results will be achieved, as your condition may not be related to food or chemical intolerance.
