The Airfree® Iris air purifier contains patented incinerator technology to destroy airborne impurities. It silently cleanses the air of viruses, mould spores, bacteria, pet dander, pollen, dust mites and ozone. It can help to manage the symptoms of hay fever once the unit has been in place for 2 - 3 weeks. Pollen will be kept to minimum levels thereafter. This air steriliser doesn't trap particles in a filter - it actually incinerates them within the ceramic core. Learn more about the Airfree patented Thermodynamic Sterilisation System; please view the Incinerator Technology tab.
The Airfree® Iris has no filters, so there are no ongoing filter replacement costs. All you need to do is switch it on and let it work in the background powerfully cleaning your air.
This air steriliser does not contain a fan because it operates in a different way to a traditional air purifier. It is completely silent, meaning that it will not disturb even the lightest sleeper.
The Airfree® Iris air purifier has a light that can either be turned off (which may be preferable if used in the bedroom) or you can select one of 9 colours to illuminate the top of the unit. Airfree® have used a chromotherapy approach to incorporate various colours which have differing attributes but overall can promote less stress and contribute to a soothing environment.
The Airfree® Iris air purifier capably cleans the air in rooms sized up to 50m2. It is designed for one room use rather than to be moved from one room to another. It takes 2 to 3 weeks to reach its maximum efficiency of reducing allergens and microorganisms in the air by over 95%. This level will then be kept to a minimum on an ongoing basis.
