We have all heard about eating a balanced diet to help lose weight or maintain a healthy body. Fewer people, however, associate the food they eat with how happy they feel. Recent research has shown a link between depression in teenagers and low intake of vitamins. This is also backed up the findings of another study which was carried out with young offenders. This second study found that giving young offenders multi-vitamins and fish oils significantly reduced anti-social behaviour. So get your greens over the weekend and it might just put that smile back on your face.
