Although after a few minutes digging I found that quite a lot of the information was spurious there was some interesting information about water that we should consider. A few items I found interesting are below:Even MILD dehydration can slow down your metabolism by as much as 3%Thirst usually does not develop until 1-2% of body weight is lost through dehydration.Athletic performance is decreased by 2% for a 2% loss in body weight through dehydration.One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for 98% of dieters in a University of Washington Study.Dehydration is the number one trigger of daytime fatigue.Approximately 85% of your brain, 80% of your blood and 70% of your muscle is water.As water is so important, let's make sure the water we drink is as clean as possible whilst still retaining some minerals.
