Our normal delivery charges are broken down into:
The delivery charge on paint and all Ecos/Lakeland products to UK mainland (excluding certain postcodes in Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland) is £4.95 for every 18 litres (or part thereof) of paint ordered.
If you require delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or anywhere off the mainland, we can advise you of the delivery charge by telephone before ordering your paint.
3. Next Working Day Delivery (£7.50) is a matter of choice. If you order before 12 noon and choose Next Working Day Delivery your order will be sent out the same day and delivered the next working day to mainland UK.* Please note that "Working Days" are Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, and that Next Working Day Delivery is not available on certain products, for example DermaSilk – please see individual product pages for details.
* Standard Delivery and Next Working Day charges to the following postcodes including the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and anywhere off mainland Britain may be increased. This includes the following postcodes:
Scottish Highlands: AB30-38, AB44-56, FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV30-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH18-26, PH30-41, PH49-50
Scottish Islands:HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, K27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA30, PA32-34, PA41-49, PA60-78 PH42-44, ZE1-3
Off Shore: BT, JE, GY, IM
We will notify you if your order incurs any increased charges. Because this cannot be automated at the Check Out your order will be confirmed at the £4.50 or £6.00 rate and you will be notified of the real charge before your order is processed. The Next Day Delivery to these areas is normally a 48 hr (2 day) delivery.
We do not deliver to America or Canada but will be happy to deliver to an address of your choice in the UK for onward shipment to North America. Charges to the Islands and Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and anywhere off the mainland may incur an extra charge particularly if your order needs to be sent via courier. We will notify you by email or phone if this is the case.
Guarantee and Returns
We want you to be delighted with your purchase but understand that sometimes you may need to return a product. You can order with complete confidence as we guarantee to refund or exchange any product that you are not completely happy with. All we ask is that you return the product to us in its original unused condition, in its original undamaged packaging. It is your responsibility to take “reasonable care” of the goods. Please note that goods that are made ( i.e. mattresses) or mixed up to order (i.e. paint) are non returnable unless for faulty workmanship.
Returns within 14 days
Within 14 days of receipt of your order you have the right to notify us in writing and cancel and return the whole order in its original undamaged packaging (goods that cannot be resold due to hygiene reasons, sealed goods and those that are made up to order are non-returnable unless faulty; this includes mattresses and paint). We will refund the full purchase price and any standard delivery postage you originally paid within 14 days of us receiving your entire order back (if you are returning part of an order, we will refund the purchase price of the item you are returning but not the postage.).
We reserve the right to charge a restocking charge and to charge for any goods not returned in saleable condition or exceeding the 14 day period. Please notify us before returning goods and use the returns form enclosed with your order. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the goods and to insure them for their value in case they should go astray or be damaged in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In the event that the item you have received is damaged in transit or faulty, or if a product fails within 30 days, we will replace, repair or refund. Please notify us immediately of any such problems and we will discuss our methods of returning goods. Otherwise we regret we are unable to accept any responsibility for return charges. Depending upon the product, instructions will be given to satisfy you as well as our suppliers to deal with the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
After 30 Days
It is your responsibility to take “reasonable care” of the goods. After 30 days we will need the product to be returned for inspection. We can then discuss either repairing or replacing the item. It is the customer's responsibility to cover the cost of returning the goods and to insure them to cover the value of the item/s should they go astray or be damaged in transit.
Method of Return of Faulty Goods
Our method of return is via our Courier Return Service. Customers will be e-mailed a returns label together with a list of local places the item can be dropped off. Should this not be acceptable then the customer will be responsible to cover the cost of returning the goods and to insure them for their value in case they go astray or are damaged in transit.
