Healthy House CeraPlus filters for use with our gravity water filters

The CeraPlusTM is manufactured to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, systs, organic chemicals and inprove taste and odours. The filter is silver impregnated to prevent bacteria growth (mitosis) and is self-steralising.  The ceramic shell is manufactured to balance flow rate and consistent pore size in order to provide maximum filtration efficiency.  The core of the filter contains coconut shell based granular activated carbon to reduce organic chemicals and improve the colour, taste and odour of drinking water.  

The CeraPlus candle maintains the high levels of filtration for our gravity water filters.  This highly efficient filter is 0.5 micron absolute which can remove 100% of cysts, 99.9999% pathogenic bacteria and more than 99.9% of particles down to 0.2 microns.

Ceramic has been used since the early 1800's to filter unreliable drinking water sources and the development since then has progressed to today's very efficient candles.  This highly efficient Candle has an absolute filtration down to 0.5 micron with a nominal (99.99% removal) of particles between 0.2 - 0.45 microns making this filter more than adequate in removing all the plastic particles and fibres which may be found in your drinking water.
